What you'll need to succeed:
• Honest, reliable, hardworking with a & "can do" attitude and willing to learn
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy/open plan kitchen.
• Passion for the industry
• At least 3 years of work experience in Chinese cuisine, OR

• Have Level 4 qualification in Cookery (Chinese cuisine), OR

• Have a relevant overseas occupational certificate (it is only required if the work experience/qualification requirements above are not met)

The role will include, but not limited to:
• Preparing, Cooking and Seasoning Chinese food/Dim Sum according to customers’ orders including their dietary requirements
• May collaborate/assist with the Head Chef in planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies.
• Stock control and minimize food wastage
• Check and maintain proper food holding by handling, storing, and rotating all products properly and refrigeration temperature control points.
• Cleaning and maintaining a hygienic work environment at all times
• Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served
according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving
standards.

Hours of Work: Monday to Sunday - at least 30 hours per week, not more than 60 hours per week
