We are hiring a Korean Cuisine Chef

We are a Rotorua-based Korean Cuisine restaurant. The Korean Cuisine food of ours is a unique offer in Rotorua, for both the local residents and Korean tourists. We want to hire 1 qualified Korean Cuisine Chef to join our team at our restaurant located at 1147 Amohau Street.

You will play a vital role to ensure work is underway effectively and efficiently. You will be the person in charge of planning and organising the preparation and cooking of food.

Key details of the role:

Location: Must be working on site in our restaurant based in Rotorua, New Zealand

Job Type: Full-time

Term/Duration: Permanent

Pay and benefits: hourly pay between $30.00 and $36.00

Hours a week: between 30 hours and 48 hours

Key requirements include the following:

•        Qualification at least at diploma level OR work experience for at least two years length is required. Qualification or work experience is required to be directly relevant to working in a kitchen.
•        You should have knowledge of Korean Cuisine and be competent in menu planning, and stock management.
•         You should be able to demonstrate your knowledge and/or skill through our assessment.
•         Be able to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
•         Keep high standard of professionalism and safety.
•         Be a team player and have good inter-personal skills.
