We are looking for a driven and passionate Sous Chef to join our team.

  • This is a fulltime, permenant position
  • This role offers a salery of between $65,000-$75,000 per year
  • We will require a working week from you of between 35-45 hours 
  • We are located in the middle of Hastings CDB, Hawkes Bay

You must have the following minimum requirements to apply for this role.

  • A mimimum of 5 years working in a commercial kitchen (or NZ cert, level 4)
  • an understanding of food control and modern hygiene pactices
  • overall, you must have a postive attitude towards your work and fellow peers.

Duties and responsibilties 

  • Overall responsibility and operation of our kitchen (supporting our Chef Head)
  • Uphold of our food service standards 
  • Ensure our food control plan is followed and mantained.
  • Ensure equipment is clean and tidy  
  • Follow all senoir chefs tasks as required.
