Requirements:

2 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification

Must be flexible for work, able to work over the weekends and must cover our required shifts.

Long-term and full commitments are required.

Inspecting and verifying the quantity and quality of purchased ingredients.

Forecasting daily kitchen production and ingredient requisition quantities.

Scheduling work shifts. Developing traditional dishes and researching new varieties. 

Adjusting dishes and menus appropriately based on seasonality and market availability.

Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment

Preparing and cooking food

Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies,sauces and garnishes

Responsible for all planned ingredient usage in the restaurant, ensuring meticulous preparation, improving culinary techniques, and refining cooking methods.

Storing food in temperature controlled facilities

Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements

May plan menus and estimate food requirements

May train other kitchen staff and apprentices
