Location: Te Teko, Bay of Plenty
Pay Rate: $25 to $30 / Per Hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week
Key Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience OR Level 4 qualification.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, season, and cook a range of menu items offered by the lunchbar.
Assist with daily food preparation including chopping, marinating,
portioning, and setting up cooking stations.
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to maintain food quality.
Monitor cooking processes, temperatures, and timing to ensure consistency.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in accordance with food safety regulations. Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of food items.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance needs.
Maintain basic kitchen records including cleaning logs and foodpreparation records.
Support smooth daily operations during busy service times.
Assist in training or guiding new or junior staff when required.
