Key Responsibilities

  • Quality check ingredients and prepared products to ensure freshness, proper storage, and suitability for service
  • Follow recipes accurately to maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation
  • Prepare and cook food using a variety of kitchen appliances and equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and knives
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling dishes
  • Participate in garnishing and presentation of dishes to meet service and visual standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized work area in line with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Organize equipment, utensils, and tools prior to service and ensure proper storage after use
  • Oversee opening and closing duties for assigned shifts, including setup, cleaning, and stock checks
  • Assist with stock rotation and storage
  • Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently
  • Clean and sanitize, equipment, and kitchen areas throughout and after service
  • Comply with workplace health and safety standards at all times
