About the Role:

Our client is looking for an organised, proactive Office Administrator to cover a paternity leave until 13 July 2026 (Possibility of extension beyond July). Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll help the office run smoothly — from greeting visitors and managing calls to scheduling jobs, processing orders, and keeping accounts up to date. There’s potential for the role to be extended or become permanent, depending on circumstances.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reception & Communication: Welcome visitors, answer calls and emails, and keep the office running smoothly

  • Service Coordination: Schedule jobs for the Service Technician and liaise with customers

  • Administration: Process orders, issue invoices, manage correspondence, and keep files organised

  • Accounts & Finance: Maintain accounts receivable, process wages and banking, and update MYOB/Xero records

  • Office Management: Keep office supplies stocked and shared spaces tidy

About You:

  • Friendly, positive, and approachable – a true team player

  • Experience in office administration

  • Comfortable using MYOB and/or Xero

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Organised, detail-oriented, and reliable

  • Bonus: experience with scheduling, GST, PAYE, or other basic accounts tasks
