Job Title: Cook
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (Permanent, Full-time)
Pay Rate: $29.66 – $30.00 per hour

Job Description:

Lim’s Fast Food is seeking a skilled Cook to join our kitchen team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Independently preparing and cooking a variety of Chinese cuisine dishes using traditional wok techniques

  • Controlling cooking temperatures and seasoning to ensure consistency and quality

  • Planning daily food preparation and coordinating workflow in the kitchen

  • Developing and introducing new menu items on a quarterly basis

  • Monitoring food quality, portion control, and presentation standards

  • Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies

  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations

  • Assisting in training junior kitchen staff when required

Requirements:

  • At least 2 year of relevant experience as a Cook
    OR

  • A relevant Level 4 qualification in Cookery

  • Strong understanding of wok cooking and Chinese cuisine preparation

  • Ability to work independently in a busy kitchen environment
