Vani’s Kitchen, a premium fine dining restaurant known for authentic Hyderabadi cuisine and refined plating techniques, is seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role, a passion for Indian flavours, and high attention to quality. This role offers a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan menus and assist in estimating food and labour costs.

  • Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation at every stage of preparation.

  • Prepare and cook authentic Hyderabadi and Indian dishes with fine dining standards.

  • Maintain consistency, portion control, and premium plating techniques.

  • Discuss food preparation, dietary, and quality concerns with Managers and kitchen staff.

  • Enforce strict hygiene and food safety regulations at all times.

  • Demonstrate cooking techniques and guide kitchen team members when required.

  • Order, receive, and store ingredients and food supplies efficiently.


Job Duties

  • Execute menu dishes with precision, ensuring presentation aligns with Vani’s Kitchen’s premium standards.

  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to maintain quality and efficiency.

  • Ensure freshness and correct storage of ingredients and prepared items.

  • Freeze, preserve, and portion food as required for menu preparation.

  • Collaborate with management to maintain smooth kitchen operations and timely service.

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety across all kitchen stations.
