We are looking for an experienced Chef to work for our busy restaurant.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design, prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant menu

2. Manage restaurant inventory and perform regular stocktake

3. Hire, supervise and manage existing and new team members

4. Manage food and labour costs, setting prices and working within budgets

5. Checking food quality, presentation and temprature before service

6. Enforcing food safety, hygine and sanitation regulation.

 

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum level 7 or above in cullinary arts or cookery is required.

2. At least 5+ years of work experience in hospitality field

3. LCQ - Duty Managers Certificate is MUST

4. Strong cullinary techniques, leadership, communication, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure.

5. Ability to stand 5-8 hours straight on duty due to busy restaurant during the shift hours.
