Turkish To Go Bethlehem is conveniently located in downtown Tauranga. As our name suggests, we offer our customers a healthy and delicious dining experience featuring Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine. We operate seven days a week from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Our restaurant has a seating capacity of 60 patrons, and we also provide takeaway services. Due to increasing demand, we are currently seeking two team members to join us as Cooks.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking menu items (kebabs, salads, grills and pizza) while following the instructions of the Chef. We expect you to consistently deliver high-quality dishes and maintain excellent kitchen standards.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Cook, preferably with experience in Turkish kebabs, grills, and pizza
  • High standard of personal hygiene and presentation
  • Ability to work in a small, fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Punctual, organised, and capable of multitasking with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and maintaining records for quality control
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Applicants must be New Zealand citizens, residents, or hold a valid visa allowing them to work in New Zealand
