KIARA & VIRAT 2022 ENTERPRISES LIMITED is a hospitality business committed to providing quality food and a positive dining experience for its customers. We are currently seeking motivated Cooks to join our team based in Taupō, Waikato region to assist with meal preparation while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen operations.

Key Duties:

·        Prepare and cook a range of dishes according to established recipes, menu requirements, and kitchen standards.

·        Measure, portion, and prepare ingredients to support efficient kitchen operations.

·        Organise and prioritise cooking tasks to ensure timely meal preparation during service.

·        Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers safely and efficiently.

·        Plate and present meals according to service standards, ensuring consistent portion sizes and quality.

·        Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory control, and ensure proper storage and stock rotation.

·        Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.

·        Maintain a clean, organised, and sanitary kitchen environment.

·        Support other kitchen staff and assist with food preparation tasks during busy service periods.

·        Perform other kitchen-related duties as required to support daily operations.

 

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $30 per hour.

 

Other requirements for the role:

·        A minimum 1 year of relevant work experience or at least a relevant Level 4 qualification.

·        Availability to work on weekends.

·        Physically fit to stand for extended periods.

·        Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

·        Strong teamwork and communication skills.

·        Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
