Four Seven Two Limited trading as Lilian is seeking a permanent and experienced Chef de Partie to join their team in Grey Lynn.
We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours work per week. The successful applicant must be available to work weekends and public holidays.Â
To be successful in this role, you must hold a relevant cookery qualification (at least level 4 on the NZQCF) or have a minimum of two years work experience.
Remuneration ranges from $26 - $31 per hour.
The key duties of a chef include:
- Prepare, cook and serve a variety of dishes and other items according to the restaurant’s menu, standards and dietary requirements.
- Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and to a high quality, and supervise the stock to maintain an adequate supply of ingredients (including ensuring a sufficient amount of prepped food).
- Provide input into menus.
- Monitor quality of food being produced.
- Estimate and prepare stock ahead of service.
- Undertake and enforce hygiene regulations, including monitoring fridge and storage conditions.
