NOODLE LINK LIMITED located in Handerson, Auckland, is looking for a
full-time Chef to join our team. As a chef, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours
per week on a roster.
You will be responsible for:
- Inspect equipment cleanliness and operational readiness of the premises before production to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Manage kitchen staff, select and train kitchen staff
- Estimate and Calculate food and labor cost and set dish price
- Learn the trend, plan and update the menu
- Perform tasks such as kneading, fermenting, cutting, molding, mixing, and shaping dough.
- Clean and sanitize cooking equipment after use.
- Work closely with managers, kitchen, and service staff on food preparation tasks, including dough-making, marination, and more.
- Skilled in hand-pulled noodle and Chinese pastry techniques.
- Ensure a high standard of presentation and food served
- Enforce and communicate hygiene and safety regulations.
- Oversee freezing and food preservation processes as needed.
- Manage kitchen stock and supplies.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
About you:
- At least two year of relevant experience or
- Relevant NZQF level 4 or above qualification
- Physically fit with a clear criminal record
