NOODLE LINK LIMITED located in Handerson, Auckland, is looking for a
full-time Chef to join our team. As a chef, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours
per week on a roster. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Inspect equipment cleanliness and operational readiness of the premises before production to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
  • Manage kitchen staff, select and train kitchen staff
  • Estimate and Calculate food and labor cost and set dish price
  • Learn the trend, plan and update the menu
  • Perform tasks such as kneading, fermenting, cutting, molding, mixing, and shaping dough.
  • Clean and sanitize cooking equipment after use.
  • Work closely with managers, kitchen, and service staff on food preparation tasks, including dough-making, marination, and more.
  • Skilled in hand-pulled noodle and Chinese pastry techniques.
  • Ensure a high standard of presentation and food served
  • Enforce and communicate hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Oversee freezing and food preservation processes as needed.
  • Manage kitchen stock and supplies.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

About you:

  • At least two year of relevant experience or
  • Relevant NZQF level 4 or above qualification
  • Physically fit with a clear criminal record
