The Role:
They are currently seeking a highly motivated and hard-working person to join their Collections - Legal Processing team based in their Avondale head office.
In this role you will be undertaking a range of legal administration, processing work. You will be preparing various legal documents, filing documents, preparing claim documents, scanning documents, liaising with the court processing department, client communication and following up on a lot of processes in between.
While prior legal administration experience would be an advantage, it is not essential. What matters most is your strong administration skills, ability to follow structured processes, and eagerness to learn. Full training will be provided.
With the business in growth mode, this role provides genuine opportunities for taking on more senior responsibilities and progressing your career within the company.
About You:
For this role, you do not need any legal experience. There is a strict administration process in place, which will be taught, so if you are keen to learn and you love administration, have good computer skills, enjoy working at pace and pride yourself on a good work ethic, then this could be a great role for you.
However, if you do have some previous experience in a Collections environment and understand the legal processes involved, that will be great.
The Role in more detail:

Prepare and file legal documents, claim documents, affidavits, and other relevant legal correspondence.

Liaise with solicitors, court officers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate legal activities.

Serve documents digitally and manage document flow efficiently.

Ensure all work complies with legal and regulatory standards.

Keep accurate case records, customer communications, and supporting documentation.

Stay informed of changes in debt recovery legislation and best practices.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the legal processing team.

Previous experience in debt collection and/or legal administration

Ideal start time would be 9am, 9:30am, 10:am, 10;30am. (but open to discuss).

Starting rate $65K with bonuses to bring your remuneration to over $70K.

Piles of overtime available if desired. (This can add another $10K to your income if you want to earn more).
