Aorangi Peak Lake View Glamping Limited (trading as Aorangi Peak) is a tourism and accommodation business based in Rotorua. We are developing a lake-view space capsule and wellness retreat, offering a unique stay experience for both local and international guests. The company aims to become a premium provider of space capsule accommodation and wellness experiences in New Zealand.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support our management team in day-to-day operations. This is a permanent and full-time position. This is a key role that requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

This role is particularly suited to someone who is comfortable working in a bilingual (English and Mandarin) environment, as a significant portion of our clients and stakeholders are Mandarin-speaking.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth communication, coordination and administrative support across the business.

Work location: 353C Mountain Road, Rotorua

Hours: Minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week. Additional hours may be required depending on business needs.

The rate is $32-33 per hour based on skill.

 

Key responsibilities include:

·       Coordinate and liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders

·       Prepare reports, correspondence, briefing notes and other business documents

·       Manage calendars, appointments and meeting schedules

·       Organise meetings, take minutes and follow up on action items

·       Handle confidential files and maintain accurate records

·       Arrange travel, accommodation and logistics for management

·       Manage incoming calls, emails and general enquiries

·       Maintain filing systems and process correspondence efficiently

·       Provide general administrative support to management

 

What we are looking for:

·       At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative or personal assistant role

·       Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks

·       Proactive, reliable and able to work independently

·       Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office systems

·       Experience in customer service or client-facing roles is preferred

·       Mandarin language skills are preferred, as a significant proportion of our clients are Mandarin-speaking
