Our team creates Asian fusion cuisine using a mix of traditional and modern cooking styles. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Asian Cook to join our kitchen, able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a range of Asian dishes following established recipes and kitchen standards
• Manage a designated section (e.g. wok, curry, or prep station) as required
• Check ingredients and finished dishes to ensure consistent quality
• Support day-to-day kitchen operations and service
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and efficient at all times
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene standards
• Work effectively with team members to ensure smooth service
To be considered, you must meet one of the following:
• At least 6 months of Asian Cuisine kitchen experience; OR
• A relevant Level 4 qualification (or overseas equivalent)
You should have good teamwork and communication skills, a positive and proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn. A good understanding of Asian ingredients, including how to properly handle, store, and prepare them, is essential. You should also be able to work efficiently under pressure and follow food safety standards. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays is required.
