UThe Uglyz Cafe & Bar is looking for two skilled and passionate cooks to join our team in Auckland. This position offers a minimum of 30 hours per week with an hourly rate ranging from $24 to $24.50, depending on experience.

Job Tasks:


    • Planning and organizing the preparation and cooking of food.
    • Ensuring quality control for ingredients and finished dishes.
    • Examining food to ensure proper preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Regulating temperatures for cooking, roasting, and baking.
    • Monitoring kitchen stock and supplies to ensure availability.
    • Maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
    • Training and supervising kitchen staff as required.
    • Planning seasonal or special menus in consultation with management.

Job Requirements:


    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
    • Experience in Indo-Nepalese cuisine preferred.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
