MISSION 2022 LIMITED, trading as Belly-Worship, is an Asian-fusion restaurant based in Mission Bay, Auckland, offering a creative reinterpretation of traditional Asian cuisine.We are looking for 3 full-time Cooks to join our team. As a Cook with our company, you will be work a minimum of 30 hours per week, and you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
•Assist the chef in the selection and purchase of ingredients.
•Consult with restaurant manager and chef on menu planning and development.
•Pay attention to market trends, understand the changing tastes and needs of customers, and ensure that we provide dishes that meet the needs of the public.
•Comply with health and safety regulations.
•Provide assistance to customers with special dietary needs and meet their needs.
•Participate in the recruitment and training of new employees in the kitchen.
•Storage of ingredients in compliance with requirements.
•Cooking food, and seasoning and plating.
•Good at using kitchen equipment and regulating the temperature of the equipment.
•Any other duties required by manager and chefs.
About you:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the same field OR
- NZQCF Level 4 qualification or above,No specific major is required if you have a bachelor's qualification or above.
- Physically fit with a clear criminal record
