We are a Janpanese restaurant in Christchurch

We would like to hire a chef to join us. 

You will work 30 to 50 hours per week(Monday to Saturday)

Location:Christchurch

Duties:

  • planning menus, estimating costs, and ordering from suppliers
  • monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
  • discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
  • preparing and cooking food
  • freezing and preserving foods
  • planning and enforcing relevant policies and procedures to meet hygiene regulations
  • may select and train staff

Job Requirements: At least 1-year work experience in cooking( can be any style) . 

Priority will be given to NZ residents/ citizens.
