We are looking for 02 Cooks to joint our team as soon as possible
- Full-time and permanent position
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Hourly rate: $29.66 - $30.00
- 5 days a week including the weekend
-2 years of work experience as cook, chef or relevant
Job Description:
-Cooking meals and seasoning of food during cooking;
-Portioning of food, plating, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes;
-Coordinate with Chefs and other kitchen staff on food preparations such as marinating, making sauces, etc.
-Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements;
-Checking the food and ingredients stocks and ensure quality;
-Securing food and ingredients are stored in temperature-controlled facilities;
-Assisting in receiving incoming goods from suppliers;
-Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment;
-Ensuring all equipment and work environments are operational.
-Report any damaged or non-operational equipment.
-Imparting knowledge and may train other kitchen staff and apprentices;
-Adhering to the policies and procedures i.e. uniform hygiene;
-Assisting when required in additional function of special events held by the restaurant
-Participating in meeting discussions on menu planning, food requirements estimations, etc.
-Work to a level of efficacy that allows a smooth running of the restaurant.
