About Us:

We are a renowned Indian restaurant known for our authentic and innovative cuisine. Our passion is to provide a memorable dining experience for our customers with exquisite dishes made from the finest ingredients. We are looking for a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic team and lead our kitchen with creativity and excellence. Full time role- 30 hours per week, pay starts from $30 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the kitchen team in preparing and cooking high-quality Indian dishes.
• Develop and innovate new recipes while maintaining the authenticity of Indian cuisine.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation.
• Oversee the kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Monitor food safety and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
• Work closely with the management team to plan menus and seasonal specials.

Requirements:

• Culinary Diploma or Level 4 qualification in Cookery or relevant field.
• Proven experience as a Chef in a reputable Indian restaurant would be advantageous 
• In-depth knowledge of traditional and modern Indian cuisine.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and creativity in food presentation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
