We’re a busy Indian restaurant in Mission Bay and we’re looking for two reliable, skilled people to join our team — a Chef specialising in Indian cuisine and a Restaurant Manager and. If you enjoy a friendly, fast‑paced environment and take pride in your work, we’d love to hear from you.
Both roles require availability to work late nights and on weekends, as these are our busiest times.
Chef – Indian Cuisine (Tandoori, Mughlai, Indo‑Chinese)
We’re looking for a chef who can prepare a wide range of Indian dishes, including tandoori, Mughlai, and Indo‑Chinese, across vegetarian, non‑vegetarian, and seafood menus.
What the role involves
- Cooking curries, biryanis, tandoori items, and Indo‑Chinese dishes
- Working confidently with the tandoor and managing heat levels
- Preparing marinades, spice mixes, and gravies from scratch
- Keeping food quality, taste, and presentation consistent
- Maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and following food‑safety standards
- Helping with stock checks, ordering, and reducing wastage
What we’re after
- Preferably 2 years’ experience as an Indian cuisine chef, or a relevant culinary qualification, or both
- Strong skills in Tandoori, Mughlai, and Indo‑Chinese cooking
- Able to prepare veg, non‑veg, and seafood dishes
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to handle a busy kitchen

Restaurant Manager
We’re after someone who can keep the restaurant running smoothly and ensure our customers always have a great experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing daily operations and supporting the team during busy shifts
- Handling customer service, bookings, and any issues that come up
- Working closely with the kitchen to keep service flowing
- Managing stock, ordering supplies, and monitoring costs
- Rostering, training, and supporting staff
- Keeping the restaurant clean, safe, and up to standard
What we’re looking for
- Preferably 2 years’ experience in hospitality management, or a relevant qualification, or both
- Someone organised, confident, and good with people
- Able to work evenings and weekends
- A positive attitude and a hands‑on approach

Hours and Pay
- Minimum 30 hours per week, with flexibility to increase
- Pay in line with experience:
- Restaurant Manager: $28–$36/hr
- Chef: $26–$30/hr
