Chef

We are looking for a Chef to join our wonderful team based in Rotorua.
This will be a full-time permanent position with a minimum of 30 hours per week and the pay rate for this position will be $28.00 NZD per hour.

The successful candidate will have the following skills:
 Develop and maintain standards for food preparation and presentation.
 Manage the kitchen team to ensure a safe work environment.
 To prepare a range of regular menu food items.
 Multi-task, strong time management and ability to organize our rush lunch and dinner nights.
 Liaise with Manager and other staff to ensure food quality and service provided is up to
appropriate standards.
 Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Cafe Kitchen/Restaurant or Similar Environment.
or a relevant qualification in Cookery/Hospitality/Hotel Management equivalent to level 4 or higher.
 Great Time management and strong communication skills.
 Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen.
 Good health and safety knowledge and follow the kitchen cleaning schedule to ensure
workplace area is clean and safe hygiene standards are followed.

You must be available to work on weekends and to work flexible hours/days.
