We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Thai Cook to join our team. This is a long-term opportunity ideal for someone who is committed to maintaining high culinary standards while helping elevate Thai cuisine to new heights.

 

Responsibilities:

                    Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Thai dishes.

                    Take charge of a cooking station e.g., curry, wok, or prep counter

                    Ensure consistency in flavour, presentation, and portion control

                    Assist daily kitchen operations

                    Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness

                    Collaborate closely with other team members.

                    Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, especially during busy service and catering functions

You will bring:

                    Strong teamwork and communication skills

                    A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude

                    Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen

                    Good understanding of Thai ingredients, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment

                    Knowledge of food safety and safe food handling practices

                    Willingness to learn and develop skills further

                    Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

                    A minimum of 6 months’ relevant experience working in a Thai kitchen; OR

                    A degree qualification in any field, together with National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Thai Cook) certification from Thailand; OR

                    A Cookery Level 4 qualification (or overseas equivalent)
