We are looking for a cook to join our team at the Christchurch's one of the most famous bars.
The Mud Bar is looking for an experienced and motivated Cook to join our busy hospitality team. We are seeking someone passionate about food preparation, kitchen operations, and delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with restaurant standards
- Assisting with menu planning and food presentation
- Monitoring food quality at all stages of preparation and service
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Managing stock rotation and assisting with inventory control
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas
- Assisting other kitchen staff during busy service periods
Job Requirements:
Applicants must meet at least one of the following:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience; OR
- A relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification (or equivalent overseas qualification) in Cookery or Hospitality

- Able to work efficiently under pressure
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
