We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Chefs to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

🔎 Position Details

Position: Chef
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
Hours of Work: Minimum 30 hours and up to a maximum of 60 hours per week
Pay Rate: $28 – $32 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

👨🍳 Key Responsibilities

  • Planning menus in consultation with management, including estimating food and labour costs and ordering food supplies
  • Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
  • Discussing food preparation issues with Managers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Demonstrating cooking techniques and advising on preparation and cooking procedures
  • Preparing and cooking dishes in accordance with recipes and presentation standards
  • Explaining and enforcing food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assisting with staff selection and training where required
  • Freezing and preserving food in accordance with food safety standards

Requirements

  • Applicants must have at least two years of relevant work experience OR A Level 4 or higher qualification in Cookery or a related field
  • Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Maintain high food quality standards.
  • No criminal record
