Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare authentic Thai dishes, maintaining authenticity in flavours, presentation, and ingredients.
  • Design and update menus with seasonal Thai dishes, incorporating new recipes and customer preferences.
  • Source, prepare, and maintain fresh, high-quality Thai ingredients such as herbs, spices, and sauces.
  • Ensure each dish is artistically plated, reflecting Thai culinary standards.
  • Monitor each dish's quality, taste, and appearance, ensuring consistency and high standards.
  • Oversee kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Occasionally engage with customers to explain dishes, provide recommendations, or handle special requests.
  • Mentor and train kitchen staff in Thai culinary techniques and recipes to ensure high-quality output.

Requirements:

A relevant vocational qualification in culinary arts or at least two years of relevant work experience.
