First Pacific Capital New Zealand Limited, operating as Katsu-Tei, are a well-established restaurants in Auckland known for its authentic Japanese cuisine. We are committed to delivering high-quality dishes and exceptional customer service. We are looking for four skilled Chefs to join our dynamic team and contribute to our success.

 

Job Description:
As a Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing dishes from our menu.
  • Training, developing, and motivating kitchen staff to meet and exceed food preparation standards.
  • Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
  • Monitoring stock levels, communicates suppliers, and ensuring food quality control.
  • Displays exceptional leadership, providing guidance, and maintaining a positive work environment.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Japanese Cuisine Chef in a commercial kitchen.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Remuneration: $26-28.00 per hour.
  • Hours of Work: Minimum of 40 hours per week, as per a roster provided by the employer. The roster will be shared at least two days in advance, with flexibility required due to the nature of the hospitality industry.

Location: The place of work is Katsu Tei (223B Green
Lane West, Epsom, 101 Lunn Avenue, Mt Wellington and potential placement at a new restaurant in central Auckland)
within Auckland as required.
