Aarushi Foods Ltd is looking for an Indian chef to work in Levin for our business of authentic Indian cuisine, Manawatu-Whanganui region.

Only New Zealand citizens, residents, or those on an open work visa and with relevant two years' work experience in Indian cuisine are required.

Pay rate:$29.66-$30/ hour and the same overtime pay rate.

Work hours: 30-31 hours/ week

Timings: 12 pm- 2 pm and  5 pm -9 pm as flexibly reuired.

Wages will be paid fortnightly into the nominated bank account.

Duties:planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies; monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation; discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff; demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures; preparing and cooking food; explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations; may select and train staff; may freeze and preserve foods.
