Chef De Partie required for a busy Italian Restaurant A'MANO AUTHENTIC PASTA & CUCINA in Christchurch City Centre.

Following are the duties, you need to perform:
- Ensure all menus are regularly updated, paying special attention to seasonal availability
- Preparation and cooking food to the highest company standards to satisfy customers
expectations - Ongoing training and development of all staff
- Meeting regularly the Head Chef and key kitchen staff to ensure smooth running of the
kitchen - Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work environment at all times
- Motivating and inspiring kitchen staff with creative flair and ideas
- Operation of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef (packing slip, invoices…)
- Ordering the necessary stock and conducting stock checks and stock-takes
- Keeping all areas under control of Health and Safety
- Such other duties assigned from time to time
You will need the following skills:
- Previous relevant work experience of 3 years OR must have relevant qualification.
- Well-developed team leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A planned and organized approach to your work
- Good organizational skills with a high level of presentation
- Must be available on weekends, late nights, public holidays etc.
- Must have clean criminal history
- Must pass pre-employment checks if required.

- Pay Rate: $28 - $31 based on experience/qualification.
- Days of Work: Mon to Sunday
- Hours of work: Min 30 to max 35 hours per week
