We are looking for committed and talented 2 chefs to join our small busy team in Auckland. Great opportunity to work with a friendly team.
- We will be guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week .
- Pay rate would be $ 29 to $ 33 depends on work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- To prepare authentic Indian curries and Tandoori dishes along with all menu items.
- Maintain a high level of hygiene by always keeping the kitchen area tidy and clean.
- Be able to plan and price a menu that meets the quality standard of Indian food.
- Ordering stock, managing inventory levels and checking goods on arrival .
- Ensuring high-standard dishes through skilled cooking practice and examining dishes before they leave the kitchen.
- Good understanding of food control plan.
- Ensuring the kitchen equipment is in proper working condition.
- Train other kitchen staff as and when required.
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
To do this, you must have:
- Atleast minimum 3 years work experience required as a Tandoori and curry chef.
- Clean character with no criminal background.
- Applicants for this position should have residency or a valid NZ work visa.
