We are looking for committed and talented 2 chefs to join our small busy team in Auckland. Great opportunity to work with a friendly team.

  • We will be guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week .
  • Pay rate would be $ 29 to $ 33 depends on work experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To prepare authentic Indian curries and Tandoori dishes along with all menu items.
  • Maintain a high level of hygiene by always keeping the kitchen area tidy and clean.
  • Be able to plan and price a menu that meets the quality standard of Indian food.
  • Ordering stock, managing inventory levels and checking goods on arrival .
  • Ensuring high-standard dishes through skilled cooking practice and examining dishes before they leave the kitchen.
  • Good understanding of food control plan.
  • Ensuring the kitchen equipment is in proper working condition.
  • Train other kitchen staff as and when required.
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure.

    To do this, you must have:

  • Atleast minimum 3 years work experience required as a Tandoori and curry chef.
  • Clean character with no criminal background.
  • Applicants for this position should have residency or a valid NZ work visa.
