Brunch'N'Lunch NZ Limited is looking for a Chef to work full-time in Auckland.

Chef is expected to work a minimum of 40 hours a week with a weekly payroll. Hours are rostered on a weekly basis and might include weekend shifts.

Pay Rate: $23.95 - $24.00

Duties and Responsibilities for Chef:

1. Preparing and cooking dishes according to restaurant standards.

2. Maintaining hygiene standards.

3. Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen premises according to the standards.

4. Keep the cooking station stocked before prime operation hours.

5. Work in an orderly and disciplined manner in the kitchen during working hours.

6. Follow the food control plan provided.

7. Collaborate closely with other staff members.

8. Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including food preparation.

9. Verify all food products are properly dated and organised for quality assurance.

10. Portioning food, placing it on plates and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes.

11. Seasoning food during cooking.

12. Work with the chef to maintain kitchen organisation.

13. Must be available to work during all weekdays.

Cook Requirements:

1. Minimum bachelors degree or above in cullinary arts.
2. A deep passion for cooking and a strong commitment to providing customers with an authentic culinary experience.
3. The candidate should have a minimum of five years of experience, a solid understanding of food safety regulations, and a strong commitment to upholding cleanliness and sanitary standards.

4. A valid drivers licence- with clean records
