Chef – Full time

Working Fathers is seeking an experienced chef to join our team in Auckland. This is
a full time position, offer pay of $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on skills and
experience.
Key responsibilities:
 planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food
supplies 
 monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation 
 discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen
and waiting staff 
 demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures 
 preparing and cooking food 
 explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations 
 may select and train staff 
 may freeze and preserve foods
Qualifications and requirements:
 Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
 Relevant culinary certificate or diploma
 Proven experience as chef in a leadership role
 Willing to work rostered shifts
