BM Cleaning Services is a Canterbury-based cleaning company delivering reliable, high-quality cleaning to clients. Our Director also owns and runs a second business, and we are looking for an organised, trustworthy Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support across both ventures.
You will be the right hand to a hands-on business owner, keeping both businesses running smoothly behind the scenes – managing the diary, coordinating people and jobs, handling correspondence, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. No two days will be the same.

• Read, answer, and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails, and phone calls on the Director’s behalf
• Research and prepare reports, briefing notes, memoranda, and other routine documents
• Organise meetings, travel itineraries, and business arrangements, and take and distribute minutes
• Liaise with staff, clients, and suppliers on matters relating to the businesses’ operations
• Prepare quotes and invoices, maintain accurate records and filing, and liaise with the accountant/bookkeeper
• Use computers and office software to create spreadsheets, presentations, and other documents
• Provide general administrative support and assist with tasks for the Director
May need to supervise other staff

Relevant work experience of two years or a relevant qualification
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities across two businesses
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Confident with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, email, and scheduling tools preferred
• Discreet, reliable, and able to handle confidential information
What we offer
• A full-time, permanent role with a supportive, down-to-earth Director
• A varied and genuinely interesting workload
• Competitive pay at or above market rate
