JC AND SONS INVESTMENTS LIMITED is a growing hospitality business committed to delivering high-quality food, excellent customer service, and a welcoming dining experience. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated  CHEF o join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Inspect equipment cleanliness and operational readiness of the premises before production to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

· Manage kitchen staff, select and train kitchen staff

· Estimate and Calculate food and labor cost and set dish price

· Learn the trend, plan and update the menu

· Perform tasks such as kneading, fermenting, cutting, molding, mixing, and shaping dough.

· Clean and sanitize cooking equipment after use.

· Work closely with managers, kitchen, and service staff on food preparation tasks, including dough-making, marination, and more.

· Skilled in hand-pulled noodle and Chinese pastry techniques.

· Ensure a high standard of presentation and food served

· Enforce and communicate hygiene and safety regulations.

· Oversee freezing and food preservation processes as needed.

· Carry out additional duties as assigned.

 

About You:

  • At least one year of relevant experience or
  • NZQCF Level 4 or above qualification. No specific major is required if you hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher degree.
  • Physically fit with a clear criminal record
