Location: Mission Bay, Auckland City
Pay Rate: $28–$32 per hour (depending on experience)
Role Overview (per ANZSCO description):
• Plan, prepare, and cook dishes to Azzuro’s high standards of quality and presentation.
• Planning Menus
• Estimating food and labour costs and ordering food supplies
• Ensure all meals are produced efficiently and consistently during busy service periods.
• Check food supplies, monitor stock, and place orders as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment.
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as needed.
• Contribute ideas for seasonal menu updates and daily specials.
What We’re Looking For:
- A relevant Level 5 in Cookery or Culinary Arts or higher qualification OR.
- A relevant 2 years' experience working in a busy kitchen.
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
