About Azzuro: Situated on the stunning Mission Bay waterfront, Azzuro is renowned for its contemporary coastal dining experience, fresh flavours, and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Under the direction of Shivam Kumar, we bring together passion for great food, exceptional service, and a vibrant dining environment right by the beach.

Location: Mission Bay, Auckland City

Pay Rate: $28–$32 per hour (depending on experience)


Role Overview (per ANZSCO description):

• Plan, prepare, and cook dishes to Azzuro’s high standards of quality and presentation.

• Planning Menus

• Estimating food and labour costs and ordering food supplies

• Ensure all meals are produced efficiently and consistently during busy service periods.

• Check food supplies, monitor stock, and place orders as required.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment.

• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as needed.

• Contribute ideas for seasonal menu updates and daily specials.


What We’re Looking For:

  • A relevant Level 5 in Cookery or Culinary Arts or higher qualification OR.
  • A relevant 2 years' experience working in a busy kitchen.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
