The Right Candidate:
 More than a yeare of experience in a busy kitchen environment or relevant
qualification in Culinary Arts or similar
 Familiar with running a systemized kitchen
 A team player who collaborates well with others and supports a positive work
environment
 Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards in
food preparation and kitchen systems
 Eagerness to learn, develop your skills, and take on new challenges

Position Details:
 Full-time (minimum 30 hours per week)
 Both work on weekends and some public holidays
 No night shift

Duties include:
 Design, plan and price menu based on customer preference and seasonality
 Train and manage kitchen staff. You may also involve in hiring kitchen staff
 Prepare and cook meals. Always ensure that the presentation is excellent
 Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed. Minimise waste and manage food
costs efficiently.
 Utilise proper techniques to freeze and preserve foods
 Communicating food preparation issues effectively with the management team, and
all relevant kitchen and service staff.
 Ability to estimate food and labor costs to maintain profitability
 Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimise waste and ensure freshness of
ingredients.

 Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations
 Overseeing the quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and
presentation
