Job Title: Cook – K Chicken
Location: Invercargill, Southland 
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Minimum 40 hours and up to 45 hours per week, rostered across 7 days (including weekends and public holidays)
Pay Rate: $28 – $30 per hour
Availability: 1
 
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our team and oversee the kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment where everything is made in-house.
 
Key Responsibilities:
•    Prepare and cook Korean-style fried chicken and other menu items
•    Maintain food quality, food safety, and kitchen hygiene standards
•    Prepare ingredients and maintain kitchen cleanliness and organisation
•    Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, and assist with inventory control
•    Support kitchen operations and learn stock ordering and supplier coordination
•    Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
•    Assist with training and maintaining high operational standards
 
What We’re Looking For:
•    Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a restaurant or hospitality industry
OR 
NZQCF Level 4 qualification or higher 
•    Ability to work under pressure and multitask during busy service periods
•    Strong understanding of food safety standards in New Zealand
•    Team player with good communication and time management skills
