XIAN LIMITED is seeking a reliable Chinese Cuisine Cook to join our busy kitchen team. This position involves evening and late-night shifts due to our extended opening hours. You will be responsible for preparing a range of traditional Chinese dishes and supporting the kitchen team during service.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ³ Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking a range of Chinese dishes, including stir-fries and clay pot dishes
  • Ensuring meals meet presentation, portion and quality standards
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen workspace
  • Supporting the head chef and kitchen team during busy periods
  • Monitoring stock levels and ensuring food is stored correctly

πŸ“‹ What We’re Looking For

  • Currently working, or previously worked, as a Chinese cuisine cook, with a current or previous employment agreement/contract showing the position; OR Holds a Chinese Certificate of Occupational Skill Level 3 in Traditional Cuisine
  • Comfortable working with woks, high-heat cooking and preparing multiple dishes
  • Available for rostered shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
