We’re looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at SUNDAYS – our neighbourhood wood-fired eatery and drink(ery), set within a beautifully restored 1933 church in Country Lane, Frankton.

SUNDAYS is a community hub where locals and visitors come together over wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizzas, fresh pasta, european-inspired shared plates and great drinks.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of designated sections, ensuring food is prepared, cooked and presented consistently to SUNDAYS' standards
  • Prepare and cook dishes across our menu, including Neapolitan-style pizza, pasta and shared plates
  • Complete mise en place efficiently and ensure your section is organised and ready for service
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver smooth, efficient services
  • Follow recipes and specifications accurately while maintaining portion control and minimising waste
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or ordering requirements to senior chefs
  • Maintain excellent standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen organisation
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative and professional kitchen environment

This is a permanent position guaranteeing a minimum of 30 hours per week.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A minimum of six months' relevant experience in a professional kitchen
  • Strong cooking, preparation and time-management skills
  • The ability to confidently manage a section during busy services
  • A genuine passion for great food and consistent quality
  • A positive attitude and strong team mentality
