Job Description

Little Bamboo Hospitality Limited is seeking skilled Pastrycooks to join our team in Auckland. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about pastry production and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks include:

• Checking the cleanliness of equipment and premises before production to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Inspecting the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients accurately

• Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing, and shaping dough and pastry goods

• Preparing pastry fillings

• Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine correct baking times

• Coordinating forming, loading, baking, unloading, de‑panning, and cooling of pastry products

• Glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing

• Operating machines that roll, mould, or cut dough and biscuits

• Cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins, and other cooking equipment

• Preparing and baking buns, cakes, biscuits, and pastry goods

Qualifications & Experience

• At least two years of relevant industrial experience, or

• A Level 4 or higher qualification
