Today we are looking for the next hero chef to join the crew in Queenstown. You would be invited to apply for the opportunity if you had a minimum 3-year relevant experience and No qualification is required.

What we expect you to perform:
- Collaborate with staff and/or management to plan and develop recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers;
- Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients in consultation with staff and/or management;
- Analyze recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labour and overhead costs;
- Determine how food should be presented, and create decorative food displays;
- Instruct staff in the preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food;
- Collaborate with staff and/or management to discuss and coordinate activities of staff engaged in food preparation;
- Demonstrate cooking techniques and instruct cooking procedures to staff;
- Cook, garnish and present food;
- Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that staff follows hygiene standards and regulations;
- Select and train staff;
- May freeze, preserve, prepare food; and
- other works as required
