Minimum of $24 per hour to  $33 per hour 

A minimum of 30 hours of work per week is guaranteed.

Fast moving work place busy environment  This is a full-time permanent role with a minimum of 30 hours Wellington region. The job will be roasted from Monday to Sunday.

Minimum pay rate will be $24 per hour and employer is willing to go up to to $33 per hour based on experience.

We are looking for 2 Cooks to cater our needs to server the customers with delicious food. This is a full-time permanent role with a minimum of 30 hours per week split shift.

Job Duties may include but not limited to:

Must have knowledge of baking, roasting, and grilling to cater our menu dishes with perfection .our cuisine contain grill cuisine dishes , continental style sides and roasting of meat dishes as well.

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including starters, main courses, desserts, and special dietary meals.
  • Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors safely.
  • Assist in planning menus and suggesting new dishes.
  • Prepare food in accordance with customer preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Modify recipes to meet special dietary needs where required.
  • Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation before serving.
  • Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation.
  • Check freshness of ingredients and report shortages.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Comply with food safety regulations and hygiene policies.
  • Store food items properly and monitor stock rotation (FIFO method).
  • Assist in receiving and checking deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and inform management when supplies are low.
  • Minimize food wastage and control portion sizes.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff and service team.
  • Supervise and guide kitchen assistants when required.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative working environment.
  • Clean kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning properly.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Ability to work under pressure. Ability to multitask and prioritize task in fast paced environment.
  • Requirements -2 years of relevant work experience as cook or similar role.or relevant level 4 qualification or higher 
  • Position 1  for Grill  Chef, full time permanent position 30 hours per week minimum. monday to Sunday .shift can be split as per the roaster .

  •  you must already have the skills and knowledge to be able to:

    -Assist the Head Chef with planning menus and estimating food requirements

    -Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality

    -Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment

    -Cooking high-quality roast and operating grill and roaster  oven without supervision promptly.

    -Cooking ribs and roasting chicken in oven and Snacks items

    -Seasoning food during cooking

    -Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces, and garnishes

    -Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities

    -Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements

    -Keep your work areas and equipment clean and tidy, ensuring sanitation practices are always in compliance

    with hygiene regulations.

    -Providing the Head Chef with stock requirement schedules ongoing needed to ensure efficient operation in your area of responsibility.

    -Assist with training and directing Kitchen hands as required

    -At all times, work with safe practices following kitchen safety standards.

    -Maintaining your part of the Food Control Plan by ensuring the data is recorded as required.

    -Other lawful duties as requested from time to time.

    -Reporting to the Head Chef

  • Abilities to multitask and prioritise task in fast placed environment.
  • Relevant  3 year ‘s experience as chef or similar role/and or diploma or higher.
